About Me

Hi and welcome to my world!

My name as you probably gathered is Ihuaku (E-Hu-ahh-ku) Patricia Nweke, like most people of African heritage I have more names given to me by grand parents etc but let’s keep it at that for now! The name was given to me by my father after his mother a phenomenal business women because he said I brought him luck in business when I was born.

I was born to Dr Obi Nwagwu an Oxford trained physician and politician and Geraldine Obi Nwagwu an accountant. We left our comfortable life in Nigeria during the political coup of the late 1980s to start life afresh in the U.K.

I honour hard work and enterprise but also love to travel and have fun.

I am a born creative and founder of I.Kollection a brand focused on fashion and jewellery design as well as styling for the discerning woman who wants to stand out in her own unique and authentic style.

Since 2014, my brand has gained recognition in prestigious publications such as Vogue, and platforms such as African Fashion Week London and London Fashion Week. I.Kollection has earned numerous awards, including the Perfect Gift Awards 2023 and SIMA Global Fashion Entrepreneur of the Year 2023 and ethnic minority business of the year 2023 at the International Trade Council.

Beyond fashion, I am the driving force behind Cedarcube, a social enterprise focusing on family restoration. Through Cedarcube, I have spearheaded initiatives such as the Building the Excellent Family Summit and the Single Mothers Benevolent fund. Some of Cedarcube’s initiatives including organising fundraising galas to support victims of abuse. Through the work of Cedarcube I also represent my local council Epping Forest district council as a community champion for Loughton.

Indeed Cedarcube has also won several awards including the London Prestige awards, 2019 relationship Councillor of the year, The extra Ordinary Achievers awards and being a finalist amongst 22000 community organisations for community organisation multi strand at the 2019 National Diversity awards and humanitarian of the year awards at the 9th women for Africa awards.

Recently I have been privileged to be featured on the NYC a journal as one of the 30 top female leaders to watch in 2024 and to be selected as an approved delegate for U.K. for UN women at the 68th commission on the status of women ensuring women’s and girls rights across all aspects of life.

I have been a career procurement consultant for 20 years as well as an Amazon best selling author.

One fun fact about me is that I was made a chief in 2015 in Igbo land Nigeria from where I hail with the title of ‘Olaedo’ (Gold) which was given to me by my mother inlaw.

I am married to Chief Cllr Chidiebere Nweke also for 19 years and we are blessed with three sons, 17, 15 and 12.
